Your trophy cabinet
Where your kept medals live, how to find one and how to get back in later.
Your trophy cabinet holds every Breaktape medal you've kept, newest first, whoever organised the event. It's private to you: nobody else can see your cabinet, only the medal pages you choose to share.
Finding a medal
Once you have more than one medal, filters appear at the top of Your trophy cabinet:
- the sport buttons, starting with All sports, each with a count
- Any distance, to pick one distance
- Any year, to pick one year
If nothing matches, you'll see No medals match. Tap Show all medals to clear the filters.
Medals you've made private show a Private label.
Opening a medal
Tap any medal to open it. You'll see:
- your name, your time and your race, with the medal itself
- your position, category and wave, if the results include them
- Splits, if the timing company recorded them
- Share it, with share buttons and pictures to save
- Keep it on your phone, for wallet passes, which aren't available yet
- About this medal, with Privacy for this medal, Verification page and, for a public medal, Public page
Tap Your medals at the top to go back.
Getting back in later
There's no password. You sign in with a 6-digit code.
- Go to app.breaktape.com/cabinet. You can also open any of your medal emails, tap Keep your medal, then Sign in to your trophy cabinet.
- Enter the email address your medals were sent to and tap Send me a code.
- Type the code from the email into the 6-digit code box and tap Sign in.
See Signing in and codes if the code doesn't arrive.
Settings
Tap Settings at the top (on a larger screen it's the cog). Here you can:
- choose the privacy settings for new medals you keep, under For new medals you keep
- turn Occasional news from Breaktape on or off. It's off unless you turn it on, and it never affects your medal emails
- delete your account, under Delete your account
Good to know
- A new medal only lands in your cabinet once you keep it from its email.
- Medals sent to a different email address are kept in a separate cabinet for that address.
- If you hold medals for a child under 13, they sit in their own card at the top, Medals you hold for and the child's name.
- If an organiser corrects your result, the updated medal replaces the old one in your cabinet automatically.
- There's no way to look up a medal by bib number. Each medal comes from its own email.
