Downloading your images

The ready-made pictures of your medal, their sizes, and how to save them on a phone or computer.

Every public medal comes with ready-made pictures, sized for the places people post them. They show your medal, your name and your time, in your event's colours.

The pictures

You'll find them under Save the pictures, below the share buttons:

  • Medal is the medal on its own.
  • Story, 1080 × 1920 is tall, for Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp stories.
  • Square post, 1080 × 1080 is for a post on Instagram or Facebook.
  • Wide, 1200 × 630 is for LinkedIn, X or a blog.

Saving a picture

  1. Open the medal in your trophy cabinet, or tap Share your medal in your medal email.
  2. Scroll to Save the pictures.
  3. Tap the picture you want. It opens in a new tab.
  4. Save it:
    • On a phone, press and hold the picture, then choose to save it to your photos.
    • On a computer, right-click the picture and choose to save it.

The Instagram story button is a shortcut to the story picture. It opens in a new tab, ready for you to save and add to your story.

On a phone, the Share button sends the square picture straight to the app you choose, along with your link.

When pictures change

Pictures always follow your latest choices. If you hide your surname or your time, the next picture you save is made to match. If your result is corrected, your updated medal has new pictures with the right details.

Pictures you've already saved or posted don't change. If you've posted one and then changed your mind, delete it from wherever you posted it.

Good to know

  • Pictures are only available for public medals. A private medal shows This medal is private, so there's nothing to share. instead.
  • Medals for children under 13 are always private, so they don't have pictures to save.
  • A hidden surname shows as your first name and initial, for example "Sam O." for Sam Okafor.
  • If your event has a sponsor, its name may appear on the pictures, as your organiser chose.
  • If a picture is slow to open the first time, give it a few seconds: it's being made for you.
