Sharing your medal

The ways to share your medal, what each button does, and sharing straight from the email.

You earned it, so show it off. You can share your medal from its email without signing in, or from your trophy cabinet at any time.

Share from the email

  1. Open your medal email and tap Share your medal.
  2. Your medal opens at Share it.
  3. Pick where it goes.

You don't need to keep the medal first, though keeping it means you can find it again easily.

Share from your trophy cabinet

  1. Open your trophy cabinet and tap the medal.
  2. Scroll to Share it.
  3. Pick where it goes.

What each button does

  • Share appears on phones and some computers. It opens your device's own share menu, with your medal picture and the link, so you can send it to any app you have. If your phone asks, tap Share now to finish.
  • Instagram story opens a tall story picture in a new tab. Save it, then add it to your Instagram story.
  • WhatsApp, Facebook, LinkedIn and X each open that service in a new tab, ready to post your link. WhatsApp and X add a line such as "I finished the Riverside Half Marathon 2026 in 1:52:10."
  • Copy link copies the link to your medal page, so you can paste it anywhere. The button changes to Link copied.

Under the buttons, Save the pictures has ready-made images to post yourself. See Downloading your images.

Your medal page

The link you share opens your public medal page. It shows your medal, your name and your finish, with a Verified medal panel so people can see it's genuine. If your event has sponsors, they may appear underneath.

Your medal page only shows what you've chosen to show. If you hide your surname or your time, the page and new pictures change to match. See Privacy choices.

Good to know

  • Only public medals can be shared. If a medal is private, Share it says there's nothing to share. Make it public on Privacy for this medal first.
  • Medals for children under 13 are always private, so they can't be shared.
  • Each share makes its own link. Your organiser sees how many people shared and how many visits came from shares, but not who you are or what you posted.
  • Medal pages ask search engines not to list them, so people find your medal through the links you share.
  • If you make a medal private later, links you've already shared show that it's private. Pictures you've already posted elsewhere stay where you posted them.
  • Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes aren't available yet.
