Adding sponsors
How to add your sponsors, upload their logos, choose headline or partner, and archive a sponsor when a deal ends.
Your sponsors can appear on your medal pages with a link to their website, and on the medal itself. You add each sponsor once, in Settings, and then choose where they go in your medal designs. Every tap on their link is counted, so you have something concrete to show them afterwards.
Add a sponsor
- Go to Settings, then Sponsors.
- Under Add a sponsor, fill in:
- Name: as it should appear on medals. Up to 60 characters, so it fits.
- Which event: the event whose medal pages show this sponsor, or All events.
- How they show on medal pages: Headline: shown first, larger, or Partner.
- Website: where a tap on their logo goes. It should start with https://.
- Report contact and Their email: the person at the sponsor you'll send their report to. Both are optional.
- Press Add sponsor. You'll see "Sponsor added. Open it below to add their logo."
Add their logo
- Find the sponsor under Your sponsors and press Edit.
- Next to Logo, choose the file. It's saved straight away and you'll see "Logo saved."
- To take it off, press Remove logo.
Logos must be PNG or JPEG, up to 2 MB. A logo on a white or clear background works best. On medal pages, logos always sit on a white tile so they read well in light and dark mode.
Change a sponsor's details
- Press Edit on the sponsor.
- Change what you need.
- Press Save sponsor.
Changes show on your medal pages within moments.
Headline or partner
| On the medal page | |
|---|---|
| Headline | Shown first, with a larger logo, under "(your event) is supported by". |
| Partner | Shown in a smaller row. When you also have headline sponsors, partners sit under "With thanks to". |
There's no limit on how many sponsors you add.
Archive a sponsor
When a sponsorship ends, archive the sponsor rather than editing them away.
- Press Archive on the sponsor. You'll see "Archived. It's gone from medal pages and new designs."
- Archived sponsors move to the Archived list at the bottom of the page.
- To bring one back, open the Archived list and press Restore.
Nothing is ever deleted, so a sponsor's past clicks and report stay available in Analytics.
Good to know
- A sponsor shows on medal pages only if they have a logo or a website. Add at least one.
- Medals already issued keep the design they were made with. Archiving a sponsor doesn't change those medals. If a medal design already has them in a place, open the design and save a new version without them.
- "All events" means every event's medal pages, now and in future, until you archive them.
- Admins and editors can change sponsors. Others on your team can see the list but not change it.
- Medal emails never carry sponsor links. Sponsors appear on the medal and the medal page, not in the email.
